Firefox 3.5 Becomes the Most Popular Browser Worldwide

According to this article at StatCounter, Firefox is now the most popular browser in the world. It has taken the lead from IE7 and is still beating out IE8 though usage of IE8 is on the rise. Competition is good.

One point that is worrisome is this: net-security.org is showing Firefox as the most vulnerable browser with Safari running a close second.

To be fair, Firefox is a great and (sort of) fast browser and has always been stable for me. It has had it's problems, however, such as the apparently unfixable memory leak (it's getting better!).

What browser are you using and why? Tell us in the forums.

Sorry about the funky link highlighting, but until I can figure out how to get the links to stand out from the rest of the text, you're stuck with this. Or something similar.
